6 Months to Go!

I'm having trouble concentrating on the present today. I keep finding myself daydreaming about the days that lie ahead and every momentous occasion that awaits Pete and I in the upcoming months. There are bridal showers, bachelorette/bachelor extravaganzas, save-the-dates & invitations out in the mail, rehearsals, dinners, small details falling together, taste-testing for food, engagement photos, etc. And there's the biggest event of all, our wedding!

Today not only marks 183 days until our big day, but also our arrival at the wedding planning phase that is more of a celebration of our upcoming nuptials. It's been a lot of fun to put everything together, but let me tell you just how happy I am to start enjoying the hard work and sharing this beautiful season with friends and family! I know it's these next days that I will remember most when I look back years from now. The remainder of the wait is going to be hard at times, but more than that it is going to be beautiful. I feel like I'm about to experience a never-ending party of wonderfulness. Just six months to go and I will be a married lady!!
