Quick and festive bunny cinnamon rolls to celebrate Easter!

Hellooo, April! What a lovely sight you are! The Hill household is giddily exuberant for springtime, the blossoming flowers, buds in the trees, longer days, and singing birds. It's the refresh we have been longing for! With the start of this month, we are anticipating Easter and Wells' first birthday. And you all know just how much we love to celebrate and carry on traditions. So we are making sure to sprinkle a few festive things into our days as we await Easter Sunday.

I believe in finding simple ways to spruce up the holiday celebrations. It doesn't have to be extravagant or over-the-top. Sometimes it's the most basic activities that really make it feel magical. And that's what inspired the idea for cinnamon roll bunnies. These bunnies in particular gave us quite a good laugh - they're a little goofy looking, a little fluffy, and a lot tasty. While some look more like bunnies, others look more like muppets. They've got character and goodness did we delight in them! So if you need a fun way to add some merriment to your ordinary day, give these cuties a try!

  • What You'll Do
    • Preheat the oven according to package directions.
    • Place 4 cinnamon rolls on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
    • Unroll the other 4 cinnamon rolls, and rip in two at the halfway point. Roll the dough out to make it longer/ flatten it some. Then loop each half to make bunny ears and place at the top of the whole cinnamon roll on the baking sheet. Press the ears into the whole roll so that they don't separate while baking.
    • Once baked, decorate with the icing that comes in the cinnamon roll package. Use the candy eyes and a jelly bean for face. And the edible grass makes for great whiskers!
    • Now enjoy!
