Of course I have dreamt about my wedding from the time I knew what a wedding was. My sister and I would put on pretend weddings in the living room with our very best-dressed stuffed animals present. The wedding gown was a mixture of blankets and dress-up clothes with a plastic princess crown used to keep a white blanket, used as a veil, in place. Suffice to say, I have known for most of my life that I wanted to find my best friend and marry him. And that's really happening, which means I get to live out all those childhood dreams...just with a bit more of an adult flair.
